Within 1 week of taking office---

• A proposal will be submitted to the Executive Council to immediately implement a FREEZE of all dues increases.

• Call for and have an immediate investigation with oversight by a third party into the string of mysterious trusteeships of IAM&AW Local Lodges and unjust removal of Officers that were elected by the members.

• I will Demand the immediate sale of the IAM&AW Jet.

• I will put together a Committee of Local Lodge Presidents to submit changes on behalf of their respective Local Lodge members to rebuild and strengthen the IAM&AW.

• Feasibility study to investigate dissolving all District Lodges and have the applicable Representatives report directly to the Executive Board of each Local Lodge.

• ALL Grand Lodge Representative Positions will no longer be appointed by the Vice President of each Territory. All Grand Lodge positions will be elected by their area of responsibility through the membership. Voting will be done by secret ballot. These positions will be for a term of three years. Nominations will be accepted in September of each third year.

• Committee formed to reconstruct, improve and most importantly modernize the IAM&AW CONSTITUTION to reflect the authority of the members having the final say through a democratic system designed to protect and enhance the authority and benefits of the membership.

• Simplify, legitimize and put in place a Democratic Election Process with oversight by a third party to return the confidence of the election process to the members. Under my administration we will lead by example and begin this election oversight with the Grand Lodge to instill faith back in to a process that WILL BE RETURNED TO THE MEMBERSHIP.

• Electronic, independent and full oversight of the voting procedures.

This is the short list to Positive Change to return the IAM&AW’s “19 MACHINISTS” from 1888 back to the MEMBERS. It will be coordinated with other programs and Local Lodge President Submittals to rebuild what will be the MEMBER’s UNION once again.
